    US currency note given redesign

    The US has redesigned its hundred dollar bill to feature special security measures.

    The new design will be added to the hundred-dollar bill next month.

    The Treasury Department has said the new design was agreed to in the wake of fraud and counterfeiting threats.

    Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will unveil the new look bill on April 21st.
