    Pakistani kidnappers release young boy
    Sierra Leone Times
    Tuesday 16th March, 2010

A British boy kidnapped earlier this month while spending time with his parents in Pakistan has been released.

Five year old Sahil Saeed was taken from his grandmother's house on March 4th, when robbers entered to steal money and jewellery.

The incident, which occurred in the town of Jhelum, about 100 kilometres south of Islamabad, became more complicated when the robbers demanded a $US120,000 ransom for the return of the boy.

UK and Pakistani authorities cooperated on an investigation into the kidnapping but no details have yet been released as to how the boy was returned.
